Team

Building Experiences

Help to cultivate a collaborative spirit at your workplace with fun team building music experiences:

If you are looking for a new way to improve team bonding and collaboration, music workshops at your workplace could be the perfect solution to help bring colleagues together by working towards a common goal that is not related to work projects. Depending on the number of participants, we will tailor the workshops to include activities such as synchronising instruments together and following each other’s leads to create different rhythms.

Choir Us

The joy of singing is a proven mood booster, and you can bring large groups of employees together to harmonise and create a one-team approach.

“Choir Us” is a singing session that helps employees to feel more connected with each other while unlocking many other benefits such as stress release and improving mental health. Group singing helps to build empathetic working relationships, and creates a positive group identity and helps foster an inclusive culture in the workplace.

We use a wide variety of songs to bring employees together to enjoy the experience of collective singing. Singing sessions are great for icebreaker sessions at the beginning of a training course, at a team offsite event or to help a newly set up team get to know each other better.

Drum It

What’s better than working together to create the perfect rhythm for your team?

We’ll bring the drums, all we need from you is a willingness to have a go at making some fun noises. “Drum It” sessions are run for groups of 12 to 30 people, which is a perfect way for people to let off a little steam, learn more about each other and discover a hidden passion for music.

One of the great benefits of “Drum It” is that it removes organisational hierarchy, as everyone is on a level playing field contributing in equal measure. We use engaging beats to get participants to make music together, creating rhythm and working together on an exciting engaging musical project.

Employees who have used our “Drum It” sessions describe feeling more engaged with their work and better connected to their colleagues and experiencing a boost in mood after taking part in the sessions.

Music Works

Research shows that music classes are a powerful way to improve employee engagement.
These are some of the top benefits of using music classes for team building:

Enhanced collaboration

As employees spend time working together to create music, they become more relaxed in each other’s company and feel a deeper connection. This is transferred into the workplace, where barriers have been broken down and employees feel more motivated to collaborate with their colleagues.

Boosts listening skills

Playing an instrument requires focus on listening skills so for employees who don’t spend much time listening to others, this can greatly enhance their perspective and help to enhance their listening skills. This leads to a more balanced team environment, where there is more empathy shared between colleagues and a willingness to take other people’s opinions into consideration.

Creates a sense of achievement

Creating music and overcoming challenges helps people to feel that they have achieved something worthwhile. The progress made from first picking up an instrument to being a collective part of creating music can be very rewarding and helps to boost confidence.

Brain stimulation and memory improvement

Learning music is proven to stimulate the brain and increase memory capacity. Learning an instrument helps to sharpen cognitive skills, which can enhance an employee’s productivity and creativity at work.

Improves concentration

The process of learning music requires advanced focus, paying attention to details such as tempo, pitch and note duration. The more that people spend time learning musical melodies, the more their concentration will improve. As well as helping them on a personal level, increased focus can deliver improved work results.

Stress relief

People feel high stress levels for all kinds of reasons, from work pressures such as tight deadlines to stress outside of the workplace. Research shows that playing music reduces stress levels and can be therapeutic.
